The odd clash of Green & Purple, works very nicely. Instead of the usuall Blue and white skies.

The use of a purple background tends to help the image by not making the people stand out so much, instead it's more of a subtle look.

It's interesting because the sky almost looks like it has been washed on with water colour.

I like the fact that there is no Depth of Field, I think being able to see the background clearly does help a lot more than if it was a mere blur.

It has enough colour, but not too much overflow of vibrance.
Although it is a bit modern, it gives of a nice 80's look.

okay, so me once again. ;D

the first thing is composition. it is great here. girls are in the middle of the picture. maybe a little more free place on the right (near her hand), but it doesn't matter.

colors. that is the best thing in this photo. violet and green here are just.. stunning! and the colour of the corn (or whatever it is) is amazing. every colour here is perfect. but.. girls have too light legs a bit, i think.

sharpness is very good, light (like i said, maybe too light legs) and contrast.

girls are awesome. their poses, dresses, hair. like you said, you want this photo to shows fun. and it really does. it is summer, happiness, sun, freedom and beauty. well, the violet sky makes it even more sweet.
